2017

In 2017 Phillip started with a drum truck. He recognised a market for quality lessons and mobile classrooms

2020

Andrew stepped out of classroom teaching at an Intermediate school to start a mobile guitar teaching business alongside Phillip

2022

After seeing a gap in the market for getting younger tamariki exposed to music the Jam Bus was launched as a music exploration programme

2023

Upton Music School was launched combining all 3 businesses in to one. Our partnership with Otūmoetai College as a hub also began

2024

With continued growth and our successful charity Christmas box delivery service we decided to register a charity. This will ensure that everyone has the chance to access quality music tuition and enable our generous community to get involved
